On March 21st, "Direct Assistance Channel for Enterprises", a functional promotion conference for Weihai Integrated Free Trade Zone, was held by the its Management Committee, together with the Weihai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Weihai Customs. Mr. Zhai Ming, head of Customs Affairs at Bondex, was invited to attend the meeting and shared the current international compliance situation, customs supervision priorities, and suggestions with representatives of over 60 AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) enterprises and some proposed AEO enterprises.
At the conference, Mr. Zhai Ming conducted an in-depth analysis of the current compliance development trends for foreign trade enterprises in the complex and ever-changing international trade environment. With the continuous adjustment of the global trade pattern, important markets are gradually strengthening their scrutiny of multinational companies. The AEO system, with its high reliability and excellent operational quality, along with its supporting facilitation measures, has become a key factor for enterprises to respond to this situation. In this context, he closely combined multiple policy updates from Customs in 2023 and elaborated on aspects such as voluntary disclosure system, processing trade policy, inspection and quarantine policy, and export control policy.
In addition, Mr. Zhai Ming also envisaged the key areas of customs supervision in 2024 and put forward constructive suggestions. His sharing provided valuable experience and policy interpretation for the participating enterprises, serving as a link between customs and enterprises. Meanwhile, Bondex’s comprehensive supply chain services were also known among more customers. In the future, Bondex will fully utilize the enterprise service platform established by the government and industry organizations, promote our service products, enhance market visibility, expand product coverage, and thereby benefit shareholders and the society.
